The Rosebank Killarney Gazette journalist, Comfort Makhanya, was there to capture the moment. ANC supporters and a few residents waited in anticipation of his arrival.
He said, “I am hoping that all of the registered voters will follow suit, we need all our people to vote and express their view as to who they want to govern the municipalities.”
“All of us can recognise the problems in our municipalities: Service delivery, potholes… These are the challenges we face and they need to be attended to but it also means that we need honest people, not thieves.”
