Community’s crime issues tackled at meeting

The community was requested to join the CPF to assist the police in fighting crime.

Sandringham police held a community meeting with residents of Lombardy East and Sandringham.

According to Warrant Officer Aaron Lebuso of Sandringham police, residents were addressed by Station Commander Colonel Sanet Williams about crime taking place in the area, the participation of community members in Community Police Forum (CPF) structures and other social issues troubling the community that needed the intervention of the police.

The community was requested to join the CPF to assist the police in fighting crime.
