The Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestra is pleased to announce details of its new Winter Season at the Linder Auditorium. June 12: The Johannesburg Vitality Run
Joburg runners, we’re coming to you. Get ready to paint the streets of Johannesburg orange in the next Vitality Run Series, The Rockies Gerald Fox Memorial Race with G Fox. The 5km fun run will start at Zoo Lake Sports Club while the 10km and 21.1km race events will start at Johannesburg Zoo.

June 10: Wits Planetarium
The history of the Wits Planetarium begins in the year 1956 when the Festival Committee, instituted to organise the celebrations in that year of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the city, decided that it would be most fitting to mark the occasion by raising the funds needed to buy and house a Zeiss Planetarium.
