Discover more about yourself, your talents and your career options with Boston City Campus

As a leading provider of tertiary education in South Africa, Boston City Campus believes that just offering qualifications is only half of its job – the other half is ensuring its students have the knowledge and support to make the right career choices.

Its ‘Career Compass’ provides prospective students with the opportunity to discover more about themselves, their talents and what kind of career they would be best suited to. The Career Compass allows the individual to complete a number of simple questions relating to interests, values and ambitions. It is designed to steer you in the direction of careers which incorporate your interests, knowing that you are more likely to succeed and pass if you study subjects that you enjoy. Career Compass and pre-career guidance is imperative in helping students make the right choice before they start studying.

The Career Compass questionnaire is further supported by trained study counsellors who offer further career and study guidance and support. This is a free service offered by Boston! Taking approximately 25 minutes for the assessment, the Career Compass Questionnaire will:

  • Tell you what your interests are.
  • Confirm your career choice OR offer alternatives to your first choice of studying.
  • Suggest career options you may not have thought of.
  • Provide insight into what your values are and what you want out of a career
