Take note of road closures affecting parts of the Joburg CBD
The ABSA Run Your City Joburg 10km race takes place this Saturday, September 24.
The Johannesburg Roads Agency (JRA) wishes to inform motorists, residents and businesses around
the inner city of road closures from September 23 to 24.
The closures will be implemented for the ABSA Run Your City Joburg 10km race taking place on September 24.
There will be a full closure on the M1 (Carr Street on-ramp) until the M2 East (Joe Slovo Drive offramp) and other roads in Newtown, Braamfontein, and Marshalltown.

Only registered race participants, event organising staff, JMPD officers, security
staff and other personnel with the applicable accreditation will be allowed access to the affected roads.
