Help the Society of St Vincent de Paul Victory Park achieve mission
Residents are asked to support the Society of St Vincent de Paul in Victory Park in their mission to feed 600 families this Christmas.
The Society of St Vincent de Paul in Victory Park, a non-profit organisation, is making a significant impact on the lives of the less fortunate in their community.
Volunteer Caren Munzer said their daily efforts to feed the poor are truly commendable, but it’s during the Christmas season that their generosity truly shines. Each year, their goal is to feed over 500 families so they too can experience the joy of a festive meal.
Munzer said these Christmas meals include options of a frozen or cooked chicken, along with an assortment of fruits, veggies, and non-perishable items. The society offers food parcels with different price ranges – from R90 to R270 and a parcel for R500, which can feed a family for up to a week.
“As we approach the holiday season, let’s come together as a community to support The Society of St Vincent de Paul Victory Park in their mission. Whether in the form of food or monetary assistance, it can make a world of difference in ensuring that no one goes hungry during this special season. Let’s come together and spread the joy of giving!
Your generosity can make a significant difference in the lives of those in need,” said Munzer.
