Roseneath Primary School makes big plans with cheque donation

ASI financial services donated a R10 000 cheque donation to Roseneath Primary.

Roseneath Primary School is elated after receiving a R10 000 cheque from ASI Financial Services on October 30.

The primary school’s principal, Jeanette Ndala expressed her gratitude. “The money will go a long way. We are a section 21 school, meaning some parents are supposed to pay school fees but not all of them can afford to and we cannot discriminate against children and exclude them from the education system.”

Ndala added the cheque was a pleasant surprise as the school was in the process of purchasing new benches but could only afford one which would be used by senior learners in the hall during assemblies.

ASI financial services director, Thamsanqa Skhosana noted that as a proudly South African and black-owned business, he valued partnerships such as the one they have with Roseneath Primary. “We can see there is a bright future that they have in their hands and we will do anything to support them to make sure that our children are taught the value of being an owner of assets and ideas.”
