Pridwin Preparatory School Grade 7 raise funds on Valentine’s Day

Pridwin Preparatory School Grade 7s put their entrepreneurial skills to practice.

Pridwin Preparatory School Grade 7 learners hosted a Valentine’s Day market on February 14.

Pridwin’s head of marketing and communication Susie Kerk said, “This market is the first in a series of three markets that the Grade 7 future entrepreneurs organise during the year. The boys have been learning about supply and demand, budgeting, and product development leading up to their market day.”

Kirk added that the learners’ minds succeeded in turning their ideas into reality and had fun while making money. All profits from the market will go to the Grade 7 Leavers Gift Fund, a time-honoured tradition where the boys leave a legacy in celebration of their time at the school.
