Calling Grade 5s: Enter the Mother’s Day essay competition

Grade 5 learners have the chance to be one of the three winners of the essay competition.

The Rosebank Killarney Gazette calls all Grade 5 learners to enter our Mother’s Day Essay Competition.

There’s nothing like a mother’s love. Mother figures are so important in the development of a child’s life, whether it’s mom, mommy, sister, granny or even dad – they keep us safe and strong.

“Love as powerful as your mother’s for you leaves its own mark.”

Often, the best present to show appreciation is a thoughtfully written message of love and admiration. Write an essay about your mother or mother figure in around 200 words.
Tell us what you love about that person the most and the funny things they do.

The Rosebank Killarney Gazette team will choose the best three essays from all the entries and will award 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
Vouchers and other goodies will be handed over by the Rosebank Killarney Gazette.
