Rosebank Killarney Gazette looks forward to collaborating with the community members in 2025, and sharing their stories.

Happy new year to our Rosebank Killarney Gazette community.

A new year symbolises hope, new dreams and goals, and new perspectives.

2024 was not only a momentous period for the country but for the publication as well. South Africa celebrated its 30-year-old democracy and held its national elections on May 29, which saw the Rosebank community make their mark in numbers at different voting stations. This showed me the power of the community’s collective action and the impact of engaged citizenship in shaping the Government of National Unity.

I hope to continue seeing active participation in 2025 for matters of importance in the community, which will play a crucial role in me writing impactful stories and collaborating with the community to find solutions to problems.
