City Power has issued an update regarding the outage affecting customers in Parktown North, Parkview, and surrounding areas. The City Power team is actively working to locate and repair the fault. At this stage, an estimated time for full restoration is unavailable, but updates will be provided as progress is made. Customers are urged to remain patient and stay informed through official channels.
Please note that load shedding has been suspended until further notice, aiming to stabilise the system. During outages, City Power recommends unplugging appliances to prevent inrush current when power is restored, reducing the risk of network disruptions and helping ensure a continuous supply.
