Parkview CPF builds on trust and cooperation to strengthen community safety
Strong partnerships, active participation and consistent engagement continue to shape the work of Parkview’s Community Policing Forum.
The Parkview community continues to benefit from a strong spirit of cooperation between residents, volunteers and local law enforcement, with the Parkview Community Policing Forum (CPF) playing a central role in strengthening safety initiatives in the area.
According to CPF chairperson Bianca Albertini, the forum’s progress has been driven by consistent community involvement and close collaboration with Parkview SAPS. She acknowledged the commitment of SAPS members, CPF executive committee members, patrollers and community stakeholders who regularly contribute their time and resources to keeping the suburb safe.

“Our strength comes from a community that actively participates,” said Albertini. She noted that regular engagement, whether through meetings, patrols or joint initiatives with law enforcement, has been key to maintaining visible and effective safety efforts in Parkview.

Over the past year, the CPF has focused on strengthening partnerships and enhancing coordination among various stakeholders involved in community safety. These efforts have helped create a more connected approach to policing, benefiting residents, businesses and visitors to the area.

Albertini explained the forum remains committed to building on the progress made, with plans to strengthen relationships further and expand platforms that support crime prevention and community awareness.
She also expressed appreciation to residents for their continued involvement and support, emphasising that community safety relies on shared responsibility. The Parkview CPF, she said, will continue working closely with all stakeholders to ensure that safety remains a priority in the suburb.
