Police investigate Melrose business robbery as suspects flee with laptops and designer goods
Police have confirmed details of a late-night business robbery in Melrose, where suspects escaped with laptops and high-value merchandise using multiple vehicles.
Police are investigating a business robbery after a retail company in Melrose was targeted by unknown suspects on the night of January 28.
According to police spokesperson Colonel Dimakatso Nevhuhulwi, an unknown number of suspects allegedly gained access to the premises and stole laptops, along with large quantities of branded clothing and shoes. No shots were fired during the incident, and no injuries were reported.

The suspects reportedly fled the scene using several vehicles, including a Quantum, an Isuzu bakkie, a Nissan NP200, a Hyundai H100 and a Toyota Quest.
The incident follows earlier reports of a coordinated robbery at a Melrose business precinct, raising renewed concerns around business security in the area.
