InstaNation in Rosebank launches the #WhatTheFanta booth
InstaNation in Rosebank has all the fun, mystery and clues around the unknown, blue Fanta flavour.
Mystery and fun-filled the launch of the #WhatTheFanta booth in Rosebank. The launch of the largest social media playground in the country took place on October 12 at InstaNation located inside Rosebank Mall. The What the Fanta campaign is anchored by the mystery blue zero-sugar Fanta flavour in 440ml bottles.

Event MC Sipho Mkhwanazi broke the ice and asked attendees to guess what the new ‘hidden’ Fanta flavour is. Answers ranged from cranberry, bubble gum and blueberry flavours. Mkhwanazi said the campaign has been in the United Kingdom for three years and had finally reached Africa.

Frontline marketing manager for Flavour, Kwanda Dlamini who is one of the four people in the country who knows what the flavour is, said their organisation believed Africa is ready for this campaign. Dlamini said she was particularly happy that South Africa gets to be the first market launch.
“We will make sure the new flavour is available to everyone. We will be releasing clues every week for people to try and figure out and at the end, everyone who gets it right will be entered into a grand-prize draw for some exciting prizes. Everyone has to wait until the flavour is revealed to everyone on November 1,” Dlamini said.

She gave a hint that there is fruit in the flavour.
