Bidvest Services International donates food parcels to Norwood Young Stars NPO.
Speaking on November 30, Bidvest’s accountant manager Chanelle Prince-Smith said the food parcels were a gift to the club before the end of the year.
“We give out food parcels during this time of the year to make sure families involved are fed and looked after during the festive season, and to alleviate financial stress regarding festive season groceries.”
Prince-Smith added that the company formed the relationship with the NPO over two years ago and the company was impressed with how the founder makes a difference in the children’s lives.
The Young Star’s founder, Venita Masisi expressed her gratitude for the food parcels.

“Bidvest contributes food parcels to our club annually during the festive season. We are grateful towards them because they support us throughout the year and this contribution will go a long way in the children’s families.”
Masisi noted that the company also contributed sewing machines to create jobs in the Norwood community and empower upcoming seamstresses.
