Mister Supranational was crowned at The Venue in Melrose Arch on April 22. Mister Supranational was started in 2016 as a parallel male contest to Miss Supranational which is an annual international female beauty pageant. Miss SA Supranational 2022, Lalela Mswane cannot wait to see the pageant winner. Photo: Asanda Matlhare Speaking at the event, media personality and pageant judge Kamo Moth said, “I have been following the gentlemen’s progress from the time they entered until this point. I also would like to see their growth after the competition to see if we as judges have equipped them enough for their respective paths.” Data scientist Tylo Ribeiro emerged tops from the nine gentlemen and walked away with the title. Photo: Asanda Matlhare Ribeiro also walked away with the title of Mankind Fitness Award, while finalists Anton Siebert, Mpendulo Nkosi and Nkuleleko Mbatha (first runner-up) received the special Man of Change awards for their From the Ground Up projects. Jerobiam Julies was also announced as Mr Public Choice. Guests of the pageant included Miss Supranational Lalela Mswane, former Miss Supranational Chanique Rabe, celebrity photographer Oupa Bopapa, and former Mister Supranational Akshar Birbal.
