On July 18, the association hired workers to touch up the road infrastructure that had been neglected for a long time.

The chairperson of the association Lee-Ann Louverdis said it was unsafe for motorists when the road infrastructure was not visible. It may increase accidents in the area and the possibility of lives being lost. She added there was still a lot of maintenance needed in the area such as manholes to be covered as this was not safe for children and pedestrians.

She concluded there was a shortage of funds for this maintenance as not all the residents contributed.
