Scheduled power interruption on September 6 for maintenance work in Rosebank

Planned maintenance work will lead to a power outage affecting several areas in Rosebank on September 6.

Customers in the Rosebank region are advised of a planned power interruption set to take place today, from 08:00 to 16:00. This interruption will impact several suburbs, including:

  • Hyde Park
  • Saxonwold
  • Holiday Inn
  • Holiday Inn 1
  • Killarney Mall
  • Dunkeld/Hyde Park
  • Parkwood
  • Fricker Street
  • Chester Road
  • Rosebank/Sussex Avenue

The outage is necessary to facilitate essential maintenance work on City Power’s network, part of an ongoing effort to enhance service delivery to customers.

City Power urges residents to treat their electricity supply points as live, as power may be restored at any time during the outage.

“We regret any inconvenience caused by this interruption,” a representative from City Power said.
