With the festive season upon us, the club’s message to its community is simple yet heartfelt. “Wishing you a blessed holiday season filled with cherished moments with family and friends,” said Morag Maynard, spokesperson for the club. She encouraged everyone to embrace life fully, quoting Maya Angelou: ‘Life loves the liver of it.’
This year marked a return to full activity with the reduction of load-shedding, allowing the return of competitive soccer, cricket, and touch rugby leagues at Zoo Lake. “It’s been incredible to see our fields come alive again. Zoo Lake also played host to TuffNutterzSA, one of the longest inflatable obstacle courses in the world, offering fun and fitness to families and sports enthusiasts alike. The club was also proud to support local schools, hosting various regional teams throughout the year. “It’s always a privilege to witness the raw talent and dedication of young athletes.
