The Wanderers Club reflects on a productive year.

The Wanderers Club reflects on a busy and successful year to bid farewell to 2024.

Wanderers Club CEO Sonja Shear noted that their membership was steadily increasing as they worked to attract a younger and more diverse crowd.

“With 16 sporting sections, our athletes have achieved impressive results both locally and internationally, particularly in gymnastics, snooker, karate, and badminton. Our rugby section, led by Neil Kalife, showcased strong efforts this season achieving impressive results, while the ladies’ cricket team is also performing well.”

Padel continued to be a popular choice for competition and recreation, with successful family events and well-attended ladies’ mornings.

Shear added that the club recently introduced a Halal refreshment container at the padel courts with a viewing deck, creating a great space for players and their families to relax while overlooking the courts.

“Our upgraded snooker facilities hosted major global events that were live-streamed for broader audiences. The variety of activities at Wanderers makes it an appealing venue for corporate team-building events, particularly leading up to the festive season.”
