The conversations went beyond entrepreneurship, touching on self-love, personal growth, and the importance of healthy relationships. Topics included recognising red flags, prioritising oneself, and embracing authenticity without fear of judgement. “You cannot give what you do not have,” one speaker reminded the room, reinforcing the value of self-worth.
Phumzile Ntshabele, author, model, philanthropist, and entrepreneur, shared her journey of self-discovery, cultural exploration, and overcoming challenges. Her testimony encouraged attendees to pursue joy, freedom, and empowerment, while also highlighting the importance of community support and networking.
The event emphasised that empowerment is cultivated through sharing, learning, and supporting one another. As Khasu reflected, “Never judge each other but always learn and share.” WDO’s event succeeded in creating a space where women could celebrate achievements, exchange mentorship, and ignite ambitions. It was a poignant reminder that when women support and uplift one another, communities thrive.
