Mduduzi Yende, Liso Africa’s U13 coach, said although his team won, they could’ve performed better. “We played, but we didn’t have the aggression I was looking for. The boys were not enthusiastic, which made them look like they took the game for granted, hence we conceded a goal later in the game.”

Highland’s Park U13 head coach Zaheem Mayet admitted that it was a difficult game. “The boys struggled to find momentum and rhythm, but we slowly picked up. We conceded an unfortunate goal earlier in the game, but we managed to find our rhythm in the second half.”
