Illegal stickers a nuisance

I strongly object to the visual pollution caused by the person or persons going around the Parkhurst and Parktown North areas, sticking hideous orange stickers reading "Illegal" over advertisements they do not like.

It is extremely childish and these unsightly stickers increase the very thing they are supposed to combat.

If you want to stop visual pollution, there must surely be far more positive things to do than spending your money on lurid stickers and acting like graffiti writers.

I have taken this up with the local residents’ association and want to tell the culprits that if they are acting with municipal council permission, the residents have the right to ask the council to withdraw such permission because they are causing a nuisance.

If they are acting without council permission, the residents have the right to report them for breaking the by-laws.
