Sincere thanks to the North Eastern Tribune from the Norwood Community Police Forum for your terrific support over the past few months, and the excellent weekend internet posting of our march.
The Norwood Community Police believe with a community united, we will be able to win the battle against crime in our areas. It may take a while, but if we can maintain the momentum as demonstrated by the number of walkers at our march on 21 March, we will surely get there.
We also want to thank all our generous sponsors, and the Orange Grove community for walking on Saturday. It was a truly representational turnout of residents, businesses, religious bodies, schools and anti-abuse groups.
Thanks also to Norwood police and Metro police for safeguarding walkers and traffic control.
Together we will find Pinky’s murderer or murderers, and Pinky will be able to rest in peace and her family will find closure.
