Regarding the behaviour of our police, when I read of this kind of conduct, I am ashamed to say that I was a police reservist for 38 years.
The only way to stop this is to take note of the call sign on the police vehicle. Every marked police vehicle on the road has a call sign, eg PV38 for Parkview or LD23 for Linden.
This way we can identify the culprits and take them to task as every vehicle should be fitted with a tracker.
