Netballerz Coaching Academy holds open day for the new netball season
11 senior teams around Johannesburg attended the netball open day in Greenside High School.
NetballerZ Coaching Academy’s Greenside Netball Club in partnership with Brixton’s Elite Squad successfully hosted its first open day.
The netball season was welcomed in a positive way on March 18 at Greenside High School. The social games were an introduction to Elite NetballerZ Open Female Netball League. Netball clubs around Johannesburg were invited to the opening with 11 senior teams and six junior teams in attendance.
The event gave the opportunity to financially struggling teams to play and also for the academy to grow its members.
Dozens of teams brought their A game bringing life to the day.
Greenside Court Bunnies said they were grateful to their new sponsor, Phillip Rammego from Body Chronicles which provided sports physiotherapy treatments to Greenside Netball Club members.
The club trains on Tuesday and Thursday from 17:30 to 19:00.
Ahead of the NetballerZ Open Female league in May, the team is calling on businesses to sponsor them.
