Tennis player gives back to the game

LINKSFIELD - A YOUNG South African Schools tennis player, Byron Werbeloff will hold a tennis open day on 1 March.

The open day will be held at the tennis courts at King David Linksfield School in Linksfield, where he will be instructing members of the public free of charge. A court-mastering competition that caters for all tennis players between the ages of six and 25 years will also take place. There will be beginner, intermediate and advanced tennis lessons available.

Werbeloff has obtained his level two in coaching from Tennis South Africa. He is currently the head coach of the University of the Witwaterstrand’s tennis team and is head coach of King David Linksfield School’s team. Werbeloff obtained his undergrad in Human Movement Science from the University of Johannesburg.
