A VEHICLE overturned on the R102 in Southport at around 10pm last night, leaving a woman dead.
Netcare 911 paramedics found that the vehicle had left the roadway, overturned and come to rest against a tree.
Paramedics say a woman in her late 30s had suffered life-threatening injuries and was still trapped in the wreckage.

Two children, a boy and a girl aged between six and 10, escaped with minor injuries.
Paramedics worked for over an hour trying to resuscitate the woman but she was declared dead at the scene.
The children were taken to a hospital in Port Shepstone.
