#SardineSeason2018: Scottburgh produces the goods – in spectacular fashion

It wasn't long before the word of the sardines spread and even more people descended upon the beach.

YOU know what, just forget it – no amount of effort will describe just how many sardines were brought into shore at Scottburgh main beach this morning, at lunch and, this afternoon just after 3pm.

To sum it up, hundreds of people made a mad dash for the shoreline as fishermen had started selling by the crate for as little as R300.

It wasn’t long before the word of the sardines and price spread and even more people descended upon the beach in search of some fresh sards.
