The former officers and reservists, as well as members of other Rhodesian forces, their families and friends who now live on the South Coast, get together once a year to catch up on news and reminisce about their time spent in the forces.

Happy to be at the lunch are (back, from left) Thys and Sue Moolman and Rob Armstrong, with Gerhard Meintjies, Ursula Meintjies and Annie Bonthrown in front.

The camaraderie was outstanding and everyone tucked into a tasty lunch.
