Conducting an oversight visit to ensure all systems are in place, the team included district director Busi Mahlambi, and Dr Ngogi Mahaye from the MEC’s office. Mahlambi said the visit was part of the department’s mission to offer support to schools to ensure quality education, making certain that no learner is left behind.

“This initiative seeks to offer support throughout the province and reaffirms the department’s dedication to delivering quality teaching and learning. It is also on a mission to help schools achieve their goal of 95% pass in the 2025 examinations,” said Mahlambi.

During the session, school principal Tracey Vorster engaged with the visitors and presented the school’s profile. Mahaye described Amanzimtoti Primary School as one of the highest-achieving schools in the Amanzimtoti circuit.

“We feel truly humbled and honoured to participate in this programme today. We commend your school management and anticipate seeing more schools perform as well in our province,” said Mahaye.
