Calling all animal lovers

Don't miss this exciting day for humans and animals!

THIS year the Animal Anti-Cruelty League (AACL) will be holding their traditional, annual Pets Blessing with a difference.

On Saturday October 5, they will join forces with a number of other great animal charities, and organisers of Pets Day, to bring your pets an amazing day of fun and entertainment. Their popular minister, Reverend Brian, will again administer the pet blessings in his warm and inimitable manner.

Taking place at Goldfields Kennel Club, Boeing Road, Bedfordview, from 08:00 to 15:00.

There will be a dog walk, fun walk for humans, boxer show, dog cake bake competition, master and dog look alike competition, dog show and many more activities during the day.

Bring along your family and friends, and your pets, just as long as they are on a lead or in a cage (birds)!

Refreshments will be available for you and your pet.

Entrance fee is R30 for humans, R10 for a pet. Tickets are available at Computicket or at the gate or from AACL , 5 Alice Lane, Regents Park.
