Did you hear that Santa was in town?

“HO HO HO!” was the sound that had families queuing in excitement, all waiting for their turn to take a snap shot with the one and only Santa Claus, or rather Father Christmas, as he is known in South Africa.

A photo studio complete with a big Christmas tree was set up in the corridors of The Glen Shopping Centre, where anyone could sit on Father Christmas’ lap and have their photo taken.

While some children also used the opportunity to tell Father Christmas their Christmas wish list and how much they loved him, others seemed too shy to even look at the man in a fuzzy red and white costume with the long white beard.
