TURFFONTEIN – Believers Care Society Youth Development Centre is embarking on a talent development project with the focus on gospel music.
Many young people lead their lives outside of their strengths; they choose careers and jobs that is not in their natural ability, passion and personality, which at the end will make them become unproductive and unfulfilled in life. The project objective is to help the youth discover their natural gifts and talents so as to develop it and make it a career and use it for livelihood.
BCS is starting a community contemporary choir group; members of the group will have an opportunity to undergo a semester course in music; Popular Music Performance N4; the course instructional offering will include music business and style, aural and ensemble, improvisation, practical vocal, guitar, piano or keyboard, drum and brass.
Auditions will be held on February 21 at the Rotunda Recreation Centre (Rotunda Park), Turffontein, corner of High and Tramway streets, the closest point is the Spar in Turffontein. The time is 09:30 sharp.

To qualify one must be between the ages of 17 and 25 years, out of high school, passionate about music and willing to be a member of a community choir group. Bring a copy of your ID or valid permit for non-South African citizen.
