Three suspects arrested for kidnapping and drugs

The complainant was sold for R1000 to a Nigerian man

ON Sunday March 23, at about 21:30, Constable Muvhango and Sergeant Galane received a complaint of kidnapping which had taken place in Springs.

The complainant was at Moffatviews SAPS, and the police accompanied her to the place where she was kidnapped. She gave the police information that the people who kidnapped her were selling drugs in High Street, Rosettenville.

On arrival the complainant showed the police the room where she was locked up. The police officers entered the house and found two ladies and one male.

The complainant pointed out the Nigerian male as the one who bought her for an amount of R1 000 from another Nigerian male, who took her from Springs. The police searched the house and found a pink bag under the bed, containing two small bottles with drugs; 18x rocks, 1x cat and 4x crystal drugs and a plastic bag with dagga and four cellphones.

The three suspects were arrested and taken to Moffatview SAPS.
