Shoes for Suidheuwels Primary learners
The poverty is extremely high in many of the schools.

SOUTH HILLS – Lalie van Heerden and her sister Maureen bought 25 pairs of shoes for the needy learners at the Suidheuwels Primary School.
“We thank these two ladies for the wonderful donation. Imagine your child having to go to school, your family is already poor and now you have to go to school with shoes gaping? The poverty is extremely high in many of the schools. Our Stay Warm Day project, that will be going until end of the winter, has again shown us just how much we need to help one another!
“We have a list of 100 pairs needed, and we appeal to the generosity of the people of the South to help us reach the 100 pairs needed,” said Sue Lubbe and Friends.
When you buy shoes for your children, please donate the other shoes that may just be too small to a local school, remember feeding schemes are growing by the day as unemployment rises.
