South Hills churches unite in prayer

A combined prayer day will be held on the Sunday October 19.

SOUTH HILLS – Churches in South Hills came together to unite in a prayer, walk against drugs, alcohol, woman and child abuse and crime on Saturday September 20.

Organiser and community member Apostle Mario McKlopper of Mahanaim Tabernacle International said that in order to combat crime and other social issues, churches need to get more involved in the social upliftment and development programs in their communities. And give God His rightful place in their respective communities so that communities can prosper.

This was not a normal march, but a prayer walk against principalities, powers, authorities and evil strongholds behind the social problems, and it is time that the church must come together and declare war against these powers.

“We had prayer meetings together and prayed on Saturdays from 06:00 at every entrance of our community. We say thank you to the five churches that put their normal church activities aside and participated. Restoration Family Church, Truth and Life Celebration Centre, Mahanaim Tabernacle International, International Assemblies of God and Kingdom Ambassadors Ministries. We love our community,” said Apostle Mario McKlopper.

A combined prayer day will be held on the Sunday October 19.
