Minister to visit local factories
Campaign sees political figures visiting factories that have and require government funding.
The Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry, Mzandile Masina, will be visiting Gauteng based factories this Friday, July 10, as part of the Taking the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) to the Factories campaign.
He will be visiting Naledi Inhlanganiso in Benoni at 9:30am and Plasma Cut in Germiston at 12:30pm. Naledi Inhanganiso is an industrial group operating in the iron and steel sector of the manufacturing industry. Plasma Cut is a fully fledged steel service centre, whose main offerings are cut-to-size, pipe manufacturing, fabrication and machining. The aim of Taking the DTI to Factories campaign is for political leaders to visit factories which have received funding from the DTI and assess how effective the financial support has been.
