Man’s lucky escape from falling billboard

ER24 paramedics arrived on scene and found the large billboard lying on top of a bakkie.

A man fortunately escaped without injury after a billboard fell on top of his vehicle on the Old Potch Road in Soweto on Monday November 16.

ER24 paramedics arrived on scene and found the large billboard lying on top of a bakkie.

Russel Meiring, ER24 spokesperson said, “Paramedics immediately rushed over and pulled the driver from his vehicle. Once out, paramedics assessed the man and found that he fortunately escaped without injury. The cause of the incident is not known but it is thought that the heavy winds were a contributing factor.”
