Waiting for David

Nigel Stride (60) from Linmeyer has recently completed his book, Waiting for David, and is seeking a publisher who will be able to assist him.

LINMEYER – “I began the book about four years ago and it’s my life story. When I was 18 years old I was involved in a serious motorbike accident, which took me two years to get over. The book is about how I overcame it and how I learned to lead a normal life again after I had recovered,” he said.

Nigel always had a love for motorbikes, and still does, but after his accident he gave up riding. He finished his schooling at Damelin and then went on to Wits and completed his first year engineering degree.

He since worked for IBM and now has his own business selling software to NGO’s. He developed the first fundraising package for NGO’s in South Africa.

“My dream is to get my book published and if someone out there is interested please call me on 011 435 1569 or 072 293 3636.”
