Temporary road closure

The project is being undertaken in a built up area. Motorist and pedestrians are urged to be cautious.

ROAD users are urged to take note of the temporary road closure from January 25 to February 19, due to the Rotunda Park Precinct Project.

This closure will be at the intersection of Geranium and Turf Club streets, Main Street and Turf Road in the South, due to an upgrade of intersections. The contractor will make provision for residents and businesses to continue to access their properties during the planned road closure.

Motorists wanting to access businesses in the vicinity are required to find alternative parking as they will not be allowed to park in the area. The contractor will make provision for deliveries to shops at the intersection.

Motorists are urged to use alternative routes as follows: Turf Road, 3rd Street, 2nd Street, Diagonal Street, Prairie Street, Petunia Street, Main Street, Donnelley Street, Lindhorst Street and Turf Club Street.

The project is being undertaken in a built up area. Motorist and pedestrians are urged to be cautious. Signage will be erected to guide vehicles and pedestrians throughout the construction period and all road users are urged to obey these.
