City call centre to be closed

City’s spokesperson, Kgamanyane Maphologela, advises customers who wish to pay their accounts to utilise other third parties.

The City of Joburg advises its residents and customers that the Joburg customer services centres will be closed on Saturday, September 24, due to the public holiday.

City’s spokesperson Kgamanyane Maphologela said customers who wish to pay their accounts should use other means, such as EasyPay at Pick n Pay and Shoprite Checkers or debit orders, bank direct deposits, internet and cellphone banking or the SA Post Office.

“If you haven’t received an account, either pay the same amount as the previous month or call Joburg Connect on 0860 Joburg (562 874) to enquire as to how much you owe. You can also register to receive your accounts by email. All you need to do is to register on the city’s website at www.joburg.org.za and your account will be emailed to you monthly,” said Maphologela.

Paying your account timeously means you can enjoy your public holiday without the worry of outstanding debt. Customers that have queries can log a query with Joburg Connect at 0860 Joburg (562 874).
