Interesting start to 2018 for women’s institute
Even though the members know each other, each one found out something they didn’t know about the other.
FIRST meeting for 2018 had members of the Eikenhof Women’s Insitute enjoying an interacting morning where they joined up in pairs and asked each other questions, such as, where were you born and what school did you attend? What is your favourite holiday destination and why, and where did you work?
Even though the members are acquainted with each other, each one found out something they didn’t know about the other.
“It was really an interesting morning,” said Marje Lattimer, who was present at the meeting.
Numbers of Women’s Institute members are declining because of most women going to work, but if you are fortunate enough to enjoy being a stay at home mom or you are retired and fancy getting out and meeting other like-minded women, please phone president, Joy Boswell on 084 526 5857 for more information.
The next meeting will take place on February 14 at 9.30am at St Andrew’s Church, Burger Street, Suideroord.
