What do you think of the H&M advert that was retracted?

Cindi Xulu: I think it implies that we are not out of Apartheid yet. The advert was not planned right. I think the store must just leave our shores. We don’t need it.
Mbongeni Ngonyama: The advert needs to change. Companies cannot get away with such. They need to be held accountable. It’s disrespectful…I mean what message are they sending?
Caswell Mhlari: It’s rubbish. No apology can justify a message like that. We don’t need that shop. I think if they can afford to make such mistakes about their customers, they don’t deserve those customers.
Mafia Jossam: We don’t need the store. What was done was done without thinking and touched a lot of people negatively. We don’t need the store if it treats or regards people in that manner.
Mxolisi Ngcobo: I think the store needs to be more accountable and provide a better explanation or else customers must not buy their clothes.
