Emergency outage in the south of Johannesburg
City Power technicians are attending to the outages.
Due to a transformer fault at Prospect substation City Power has switched the following areas off as an emergency power interruption:

- Crown Gardens
- Data Crescent
- Ormonde South
- Mondeor North
- Booysens
- Ophirton
- Gold Reef City
- Kenilworth
- Linmeyer
- Tulisa Park
- City Deep
- Wemmerpan
- SAR Containers
- Steeldale
City Power technicians are attending to the outages.
As the supply may be restored at anytime, customers are urged to treat their electricity supply points as live at all times.
