Do you recycle?
With Global Recycling Week taking place, we asked local residents if they recycle and if not why not and if so then what do they recycle. Here are some responses.
Yes, I recycle glass bottles. I put them in the coloured Pikitup bags to be taken by the Pikitup crew.
I recycle glass, paper and natural waste. We put items into the coloured Pikitup bags in the three different bins and the waste we take to the dumps to be used as compost.
I recycle cardboard boxes. Pikitup takes those. I also recycle tin cans. I sometimes sell those to the recyclers or just give them away.
I recycle plastic containers and glass bottles. I put them into the Pikitup containers and they take them.
