All about ship cruises at Probus meeting

Club members learned more about the MSC Cruises with guest speaker Linda van Beek.

THE first Probus meeting of the year took place on January 9 at Reading Country Club and members learned more about the MSC Cruises from guest speaker Linda van Beek.

As a representative of MSC Cruises, Linda was able to share many interesting facts about the cruise ship. Among others, some facts included what luxuries and amenities were on the ship, the different kinds of entertainment events and their themes, the amount of bars (you would be surprised!), routes that the ship would cruise and what would be included with a holiday booking.

CRUISE SHIP TALK: Linda van Beek gave an interesting presentation about everything to do with MSC Cruises.

Members could even make a holiday booking with Linda after her presentation.

Afterwards, everyone enjoyed some refreshments and conversation together before the monthly meeting ended.

Probus is a club for retirees and semi-retirees to join together and stimulate thought, share interests and participate in activities at a time of life when opportunities to make new friends are limited. The next meeting will take place on February 13, again at the Reading Country Club.

INTRIGUED: Probus club members were intrigued with what MSC Cruises representative, Linda van Beek (left, facing towards members) had to share.

If you would like to join the Probus Club and/or attend the February meeting, feel free to contact Brenda Byars on 073 450 5194.
