Saint Patrick Church invites you to a festival

People are encouraged to attend the event.

SAINT Patrick Catholic Church, one of the long-serving churches in La Rochelle, will be hosting a Festival of Nations on October 6.
The church has a very rich history and people from La Rochelle and around have made the church their second home. The aim of the festival is to continue to enhance the community of diversity and secondly to raise much-needed funds for ongoing maintenance and projects of the church.
The priest of the church,  Father Jorge Guerra, told the COURIER all the church seeks is to reach out in the community through the Word of God and nothing else.

“The festival will see the church being with people from different cultures because in God we are one and we’d like to share the day with everyone,” said Guerra.

The church values the community very much as they always try and to reaching out to community members through soup kitchens and sewing classes.
On the day of the festival, there will be spiritual performances and the priest will share the Word of God to all those present. Food, drinks and entertainment will be there also. Entrance is free. People are encouraged to attend the event.
The festival will start at 9am until 6pm on fifth Street, in La Rochelle.
