Plinlimmon Road fixed

Residents and ward 56 councillor Michael Crichton were some of the instrumental people to push the Johannesburg Road Agency (JRA) to fix the road.

Work on Plinlimmon Road at The Hill has been finalised.

Residents and ward 56 councillor Michael Crichton were some of the instrumental people to push Johannesburg Road Agency (JRA) to fix the road.

Councillor Crichton said, “I thank JRA depot manager Ritshidze Maswime for his intervention in this matter. However, it is unfortunate that this issue took so long to be resolved.

“JRA’s ashpalt plant is still out of commission due to the service provider’s contract expiring and a new tender not going out in time. This should not be an adequate excuse though as the JRA is able to get asphalt from other external service providers.”
