Re-opening of city of Johannesburg libraries

After closing for lockdown due to Covid-19, the City of Johannesburg public libraries remained closed in line with health and safety protocols. 

As from November 9, library users are notified that they may return library books to all Johannesburg libraries between 9 am and 4 pm from Monday to Friday. No books may be borrowed from the library.

South Hills and Southdale libraries will be open for study purposes Mondays to Fridays from 9 am to noon and 1 pm to 4 pm to facilitate cleaning and sanitising of spaces.

Remember the use of library books and library computers is not permitted.
